It’s every Ohio Craft Beer lover’s favorite time of year -  FeBREWary is back! This year, we have even more great beers to share with you from our returning friends at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing Co. in Columbus, to JAFB Wooster Brewery, paying homage to our hometown roots down in Wooster! We’ve also added Cleveland’s Market Garden Brewery and our summertime Brewery Partner, based in Cincinnati, Rhinegeist Brewery. Are you excited yet?

Keep reading below to learn some fun facts about our featured “Febreweries” and the range of delicious beers we’ll have on tap from them, which you won’t find anywhere else in northeast Ohio!

Market Garden Brewery:

Located in the heart of Ohio City’s Brewing District, next door to The West Side Market, Market Garden Brewery has been brewing award-winning beers since 2011. They recently expanded to a 35,000 sq. ft. facility, equipped with a retail shop, giant production line and even a behind-the-scenes viewing of the brewing process for guests! Market Garden makes it pretty easy for you to find them on W. 25th Street in Cleveland - just search for the giant BEER sign!

For the past seven years, Market Garden has been producing crowd favorites such as Progress Pilsner, Citramax IPA and our personal favorite, Prosperity Wheat, which will be on tap at our Canton, North Olmsted and Strongsville locations all season! You’ve likely heard of these staple offerings, but Market Garden also produces some great small-batch varieties. We may be a little biased, but we’re extra excited about their new Chinook Strike IPA! This completely “Shotgunable” IPA is kettle hopped with Chinook Hops at the end of the brew to create a surge of Pine and Grapefruit Flavor. You can find this new brew on tap exclusively at The Rail as of February 1st as a very special part of our FeBREWary Promotion. Even better, Market Garden will be hosting FeBREWary Beer School at all locations on the day of our release!

Since 2012, Wolf’s Ridge has focused on craft and local products that support and emulate the community that they are so proud of. Every Wolf’s Ridge beer is born from the creativity and imagination of a passionate and dedicated team which strives to produce high-quality and consistent beers across a spectrum of styles. Rhinegeist Brewery:

Bob Bonder began flirting with the idea of opening his own brewery while trying to expand the Tazza Mia Coffee business. He knew it wouldn’t be a one-man job, but in 2013, after Bob recruited his perfect five-man team, Rhinegeist brewed their first batch of beer. Rhinegeist’s beer is influenced by West Coast brewing styles, bringing the spirit of a bustling yet easygoing craft beer scene to southern Ohio. They believe in the power of beer to bring great people together, foment fantastic ideas and build a community that values craft beer and one another. They aim to produce beers where “the first sip calls for the third.”

We featured some awesome beers last summer with Rhinegeist as our featured brewery partner, and they’ve come through for us once again. Not only will all locations be pouring up Rhinegeist’s Truth IPA this month, but we’ll also have their Gramma Oatmeal Stout, which can only be described as an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie in a glass. The Rail is the only place you’ll find Gramma in Northeast Ohio, so make sure to stop in this month to check out this exclusive draft at all our locations!

Located in Downtown Wooster, JAFB was created as a place where people could gather, meet their neighbors and be comfortable, which was just the kind of place this quaint town needed! Co-owner Paul Fryman became interested in brewing where many people do, while drinking it in college, but he felt inspired to do more than just drink it -  he wanted to brew. After studying abroad in Germany, the beer-making capital of the world, Paul not only dedicated his senior thesis to microbreweries, but he also decided that this would be how he made a lasting impact in the world. He worked at a few breweries before returning home to Wooster and opening Just Another F***ing Brewery (JAFB) with his brother and father, and today, JAFB has become a staple in Downtown Wooster, as well as the Ohio Craft Beer community. As part of our FeBREWary promotion, you’ll be able to try JAFB without making the drive to Wooster, as our bartenders will be pouring up JAFB’s Red Ale, a hearty red-colored beer with malt flavor ranging from toffee and biscuit to caramel and dark bread flavors.
