When The Rail first began partnering with Ohio-based breweries featuring a handful of their unique brews on draft throughout the seasons, we chose Rhinegeist from Cincinnati, Ohio to kick off the program. Since then, we’ve expanded and brought you suds from dozens of breweries across the Buckeye state. But we think it’s time to go back to where it all began, serving that popular beer from the Over-The-Rhine Brewery District.
Rhinegeist says, “We can all of our year-round beers and ciders because we not only like the aluminum canvas for our flavor grenades, but that’s what best for the beer, and that to us, is paramount.”
As our featured Ohio brewery of the season, Rhinegeist will be available in all five Rail locations through December.
HERE’S WHAT’S ON TAP AT THE RAIL IN OCTOBER:
- Truth, a dry IPA brewed with Citra, Simcoe Amarillo and Centennial hops at 7.2% ABV.
- Crash, an explosively hoppy Pale Ale with tropicality, citrus, peach, tangelo and papaya at 5.4% ABV
- Franz, Rhinegeist’s Oktoberfest beer at 5.4% ABV
- Dirk, a Dunkelweizen — think dark Hefeweizen — brewed with Maris Otter, Pale Chocolate, Brown Malt, Crystal Dark at 5.3% ABV
But those beers will change in November and again in December, so stay tuned to what’s on tap by following The Rail on social media.
